The mission of Albany Beauty Academy is to develop in our students the highest possible degree of technical and professional competence, to pass the Georgia State Examination to be licensed in their chosen fields and secure positions in their chosen careers.

Albany Beauty Academy is a privately own school which is committed to improving the staff, students and the community Future by providing long lasting skills. Our curriculum is written to prepare our students to take the Georgia State Board exam. We strive to prepare students for real work situations.

Albany Beauty Academy is Nationally accredited by National Accrediting Commissions of Career Arts & Sciences (NACCAS).

The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for postsecondary school and departments of cosmetology arts and sciences, and massage therapy.
Our Objective
We train each of our students in the principles and practices of cosmetology, esthetics, nails, barbering, hair design and teaching. Albany Beauty Academy is continually providing each of our students with marketable skills and professional attitudes. 

Our objective is to train each student in the technical and social skills necessary to be a successful, competent master cosmetologist, master barber, esthetician, hair designer, nail technician or instructor. 

Instruction takes place through a combination of theory class, practical work, clinic experience, group, and individual activities. At the completion of one of our programs, the student is prepared to enter the beauty, barber or teaching profession and continue to grow and develop and contribute to the profession.

Albany Beauty Academy

Albany Beauty Academy is a privately owned and operated beauty school founded in 2016. Our students benefit from smaller class sizes, ensuring a personalized and comprehensive educational experience. Our academy boasts top-notch facilities including a clinic floor with 16 stations, a classroom equipped with audio/visual technology that can accommodate 20 students, a multi-purpose room with 2 computers, and an esthetician clinic room with two beds, a nail clinic area with manicure tables and spa chairs, as well as a dispensary for products, laundry area, break room, and restrooms.

Conveniently located at 2231 Dawson Rd Suites I & J in Albany, GA, Albany Beauty Academy is easily accessible from Slappey Blvd and Dawson Rd. Our location in the heart of the city of Albany provides easy access for students from Dougherty County and surrounding areas.

I'm Takenya, the school director at Albany Beauty Academy. I wanted to share with you the story behind our academy. Back in the day, there weren't many schools in Albany, Georgia that offered the kind of hands-on training I was looking for in the beauty industry. So, I decided to create a place where students like you could get the best education possible.

That's how Albany Beauty Academy was born! 

Our mission is crystal clear - to equip students like you with the precise training needed to succeed in the beauty industry. Hands-on learning is our mantra, and our seasoned instructors are here to guide you every step of the way.

At Albany Beauty Academy, we believe that quality education is key, which is why we only have 20 students enrolled at a time. This allows us to give each student the personalized attention they need and deserve to succeed in the beauty industry.
